121309 Jamie Spingeld, Andrea Spingeld and Michael Spingeld The ninth annual Englewood Idol featuring 12 singing contestants and Englewood’s Best Dance Crew contest, made up of Englewood high school students, was held at the bergen PAC. The first-ever jungle-themed Englewood Idol show serves a fundraiser for the Dr. John Grieco Scholarship Fund. The performers hail from four area high schools: The Dwight-Englewood School (D-E), Dwight Morrow High School (DM), the Academies @ Englewood (A@E), and Northern Highlands Regional High School (NHR). This year’s judges panel featured Florian Bellanger (acclaimed judge of the TV hit show Cupcake Wars), Caroline Pennell (Star of “The Voice”), Tracey Waples (Former VP of Def Jam/GM of Bad Boy Records), Jerry Lembo (President of Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group) and Alex R.
