([email protected]) Dawn Diaz The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades held the JCC Therapeutic Nursery’s 20th Anniversary Celebration, honoring Amber Sabathia and Kelly Spitzley and featured a Visionary in Education Award to Lois Mendelson, PhD, co-founder and director of the JCC Therapeutic Nursery. The Therapeutic Nursery has earned national recognition for its parent-child developmental language-based model, philosophy, comprehensive social-skills curriculum and high success rate in mainstreaming its students.
